Strategy
direct private investments and equity and equity-like co-investments alongside top-tier private equity firms and other financial sponsors. The Sub-Fund will invest across a range of private equity strategies, primarily investing in buyout (small/mid-cap and large-cap) and opportunistically investing in special situations, growth capital and credit investments. These direct investments will primarily be in companies based in the EEA and North America, as well as Asia and Latin America to a lesser extent. The Sub-Fund will invest alongside, as a co-investor, with a wide range of high-quality and well established Sponsors in their core areas of expertise, seek to invest on favorable terms alongside such Sponsors and benefit from the “double layer of underwriting” from both the Sponsor and Neuberger Berman, which should further diversify risk in the portfolio.
