appreciation through a well-diversified portfolio of private equity investments. We will seek to achieve our investment objective by providing access to Carlyle’s global private equity (“GPE”) platform, with an emphasis on its U.S., European, and Asian corporate buyout strategies. We will also provide investors access to Secondary Investments through Carlyle AlpInvest, as well as certain other investment strategies, such as growth, infrastructure and, where appropriate, Global Credit.
